Is Wordo a multiplayer version of Wordle?

Yes. Wordo takes the familiar five-letter guessing game and makes it real-time multiplayer — you and your friends race to guess the same hidden word in a shared room.

Can I play Wordo with friends online for free?

Absolutely. Creating a room and inviting friends is completely free. Anyone with the room code can join from their browser or the mobile app.

Do I need to download the app?

To create and host rooms, download the iOS app from the App Store. If a friend already made a room, you can join and play instantly on the web — no download required.

How many people can play at once?

A room supports 2 to 6 players. Invite a couple of friends for a quick duel or fill the room for a noisy showdown.

Wordo is a multiplayer word game built by Loun. We care about your privacy and designed Wordo to run on the smallest amount of data possible. This policy explains what information we process when you use the Wordo mobile app.

1. Data we collect

Wordo processes only a very limited slice of personal data. The only data we collect is:

Display name (username): the name you choose to be shown to other players in the game. You set it and can change it any time.
Email address (only if you use Sign in with Apple): used to identify your account. If you choose to hide your email during Sign in with Apple, we only receive the relay address Apple provides.

Beyond this, we collect no other personal data. We do not access or store information such as your location, contacts, photos, device identifiers or advertising ID.

2. Sign in with Apple

Wordo offers Sign in with Apple for authentication. When you sign in this way, Apple shares your name and email address (or your private relay address, if you chose that) with us. This information is used only to create your account and recognize you. Apple's own practices are governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

3. How we use data

We use the small amount of data we process only to:

Identify you to other players in the game (display name).
Create your account and let you sign in (email).

We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with third-party ad networks.

4. Information during gameplay

To run multiplayer games, game-state information such as the room code, your guesses and your score is shared in real time with the other players for the duration of the game. This information is transient and exists to make the game work; it is not permanently tied to your profile.

5. Service providers

We use Supabase for authentication and real-time game infrastructure. Your display name and email are stored securely there. Supabase only processes data on our behalf as a service provider.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account information (display name and email) for as long as your account is active. To have your account and all associated data deleted, just write to hello@loun.com.tr. We will process your request and delete your data within a reasonable time.

7. Children's privacy

Wordo does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your limited data against unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will announce significant changes in the app or on this page. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
